However, Uniden has always been known for good sound quality, so I guess that shouldnt have been a shock. Usually however, when you opt for durability, you lose sound quality, so I was not prepared for the increased quality of sound. The only issue I have with this phone is that the belt clip looks like it could break if dropped enough. I would have preferred to see some sort of reinforced rubber clip, rather than plastic, but I havent seen any other phones with that either. Set up is easy if you have one handset, with two, you do actually have to crack open the instruction manual. Its a simple process, but not intuitive. That is my only small complaint with setup, however, Uniden made up for it by allowing interchangeability between the base handset and the accessory handset. Either handset can be charged in either the base station or accessory charger without registration or fit issues. The phones are identical and that is something I have longed for in a durable DECT 6.0 phone. You wont find any frills on the base station, but the phone itself has every feature that you would expect from any new DECT 6.0 phone. If you need a durable DECT 6.0 phone, dont bother looking elsewhere, your not going to find anything better on the market. Read more »

Most reviews neglect to mention the excellent handset display which is bright with large letters. No ADSL feedback squeal and echo like with our prior 5.8 Ghz Phones. Feature rich – intercom between handsets & speakerphone on each handset is a plus. Another plus is that the handsets operate with two inexpensive AAA NiMH Batteries thus eliminating the need to purchase replacement custom battery packs at at $20. Battery packs are a cordless phone ripoff. They often cost more than the whole handset. Just ordered another headset for a total of five. No need for a separate caller ID display My wife loves them. I bought the mVox MV100 USB speakerphone for use with Skype. It works quite well as a speakerphone. The speaker is plenty loud with little distortion. As with most computer audio devices I find myself turning up the microphone to full volume which is barely adequate, I am a low speaker so it’s not all the products fault. The device comes with an earbud in case you want to have a private conversation, a really handy feature. You could use walkman type headphones if you don’t like the ear bud. The thing I like the most about the device is it’s size. It’s tiny – so is ideal for the Laptop user. It is much easier to pack in a laptop bag then a headset and is less likely to get squashed or damaged. I can see myself using this to call home froma Hotel when abroad. I wish there was a manual volume dial on the device itself, it’s not always convenient to access computer volume controls on the desktop while working on other things The USB cable at the device end is of a type I’ve not seen before. I purchased this printer to use while traveling on work trips. It’s great because it runs off an included battery (similar to a removable laptop battery) so you can print from your car, beach, tree house, etc. I was amazed by the print quality for such a small printer. I wouldn’t recommend this printer for heavy duty print jobs, but if space is important to you – look no further. Read more »

I did a recording with my iPhone 4s and video was a bit disappointing, however with this little gadget i was able to record on a tripod with no problems and video was very stable and professional looking. Great purchase! definitely worth $20 price tag Read more »
