HP RU350AA Backpack Case for 17.0-Inch Notebooks

I just started college fall 2010, and this bag looked like it would work for me, and it did! I had LOTS of heavy books and it held them all very well, plus it has lots of different compartments that I love! It also came with a pencil holder which I use all the time too, I’m really happy I bought it!

Just got it for Christmas and so far I love it. It takes my 17″ laptop and books no problem. Sturdiness seems good only time will tell. Just love not having to carry two bags.

This back pack is very comfortable and has a padded backside, which helps with my back. I can fit a lot in there, surprisingly, and I love the little pockets inside the front part. There is even a pencil pouch, which works great. Overall I rate it 5 stars because I know this will last me for quite some time, even after a finish grad school. (I’m a sophomore lol)

This Backpak Notebook is so cool. It is not just for laptop but for every day used. I love it and I think I’m going to buy 2 more for brothers.

It is a great laptop bag…and it has plenty of space and is also light weight..

I have had this backpack for three years now. It has lasted and still is – two and a half semesters of college stuffed with small and large books, notebooks, and a large 17-inch laptop (about five pounds). Pros: – The straps are still comfortable, and the lower part of the backpack has a back cushion that relieves some of the weight. – Not only does the backpack hold a lot, it also has many compartments for smaller items, like pencils and pens, smaller electronics, and miscellaneous items. The zippers on each compartment zip up tightly, while not tearing the seam of the openings. – The outside of the back is somewhat waterproof for light rain. – The handle above on top of the bag is sturdy, allowing a person to lift it even when it’s heavy. – There are two buckles, one on each side, that include even more sturdiness for those with laptops. It keeps the bag from rattling when you go up stairs. – Other cool features include: a mesh bottle holder, big enough to hold a 24 ounce water bottle, a extra secret compartment in the second and third zipper openings – great for organization, a place on the zippers to lock your bag, and a padded laptop holder in the back of the backpack. Minor cons: – There has started to be some wear and tear that is unraveling some of the sewing on the straps – that is due to heavy usage I would recommend this backpack to any student who must have a laptop on them at all times.

I bought this so my wife could lug around her brand new HP 17″ laptop. It proved hard to find a bag that could do this and still be stylish and versatile. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this bag actually is. I am very pleased, and my wife loves it. It fits the huge laptop, the power supply cords, the mouse, software, and she even has room for a 5 subject notebook, and tons of little “necessities”. Great! Love it!

This is a great backpack! The first one I bought lasted through my sophomore and junior years of college-the padding wore out in the arm straps and one of the zippers split open. The backpack took a lot of abuse! The small front pocket is perfect for my Android phone, pens, and chap stick. The zippered pocket on the outside is good for coins. The first large section has several small pockets for pens, iPods, credit cards, and I keep my purse in this section. There is an opening for headphones so I can leave my mp3 player safely inside the backpack. The next big section is the best for textbooks, and has one large pocket attached to the inside front wall, which is where I store my highlighters, three-hole punch, assignment book, and colored pencils. I can fit three binders and a few paperback books in there. The last large section has a thick padded inner pocket with a Velcro closure for a laptop. Additionally, there is room for a large textbook or two binders and a few notebooks. The backpack also has two side pockets, and one of the pockets has a mesh water bottle holder tucked inside. The small zipper pouch on the front is perfect for change. I have also used this backpack for camping and hiking in a pinch. It’s not waterproof, but will (kind of) repel rain for a few minutes. Pros: Very sturdy and able to withstand being crammed with heavy textbooks while keeping a laptop safe. Cons: One or two bigger sections would be better than three smaller ones.
